Climate Services

Climate services are more than simply providing climate data. Climate Services provide context, interpretation, and analysis to meet the needs of individuals in their daily decision-making activities. OCS provides routine, written summaries of weather and climate events as well as one-on-one interaction with Oklahomans to meet their particular needs. Our staff of climatologists document particular circumstances to resolve insurance claims, provide analyses of mean and extreme climate patterns for planning construction activities, and assist agencies in planning for Oklahoma’s seasonal and longer-term climate variability and change.
